Hi guys, I have tried magnesium because I get muscle cramps, but I led to acute dirrea, which I can see is normal for us. A friend of mine told me she uses a spray on the muscles, and I also see that the shop sell Epsomsalt for foot bath. Have any of you tried this type of magnesium and if so does it have the same affect?

I use magnesium spray on my legs every night for restless leg. Probably for the last seven years or longer. And I always get my magnesium level checked when I get my blood work. I have a pretty limited diet where I don’t get much in my food. My levels are always in the normal range since I’ve been using it. I do 5-6 sprays on each leg and rub it in.  The brand I found that isn’t itchy is: Asutra - Relax and Recharge magnesium oil spray. I buy it on Amazon or Sprouts.  I tried every magnesium by mouth formula years ago and all gave me diarrhea. I hope this works as well for you as it does for me!!

Sara Marie, yes. That's the stuff.

I'm going to order some of the kind you recommend.  On the bright side, even my itchy old spray helped (which I tried again this morning).  I sprayed it on before my shower and did a few things, then washed it off to avoid the itch, but the magnesium seemed to have sunk in, at least some.  I think I'll get this new (to me) kind and hopefully it won't be itchy, because I would love to be able to apply it before bed.  The ingredient list is somewhat different.

Question, the directions say that you must apply it to "clean skin".  Do you wash before you apply it each time?  Does it work less if you don't?
