Hello everyone,
I have had my J pouch since May.17th, 2021. I am dealing with a potential fistula or abcess waiting for an Mri. I am wondering who else has gone through this and what the course of action is to treat a fistula. I'm assuming they remove or drain an abcess. Just got into the hospital and waiting/ praying for proper treatment and MRI asap.
Any tips or shared experiences are appreciated.

I pray everything has progressed well for you. Please let us know if it was a fistula and/or what the treatment was.
I had no experience to share as I was only tested for it and it was fine. I do remember the horrible pain 
. Hope yours is better.
Quite a few people here have had fistulas. You may want to do a search for those threads. I had a large pelvic abscess. It was drained with a catheter guided by X-ray. The catheter stayed in about a month. It was not a fun time. But, I am OK now and that was over 25 years ago.
