I have a worsening uterine prolapse which is now making it difficult to empty my pouch under most circumstances. I try to splint it while emptying but it does not work very well and I can't imaging having to do this indefinitely. Also can't imaging having sex like this. Has anyone had any luck with pessaries and the pouch? I'm so depressed. I think I also have a cystocele as well. Both occurred since takedown--never any pelvic issues before and now my cervix is practically falling out when I empty. Anyone have a miraculous improvement in prolapse without surgery? I'm seeing Bo Shen for a persistent sinus tract and possibly floppy pouch complex and he says to avoid hysterectomy and/or oopherectomy at all costs as it can negatively impact my already crappy pouch functioning. Does it ever end?

Not directly but indirectly related...I have had my K pouch collapse numerous times and as my surgeon said 30+ys ago, it pulled everything down with it (it actually just sat on my bladder and made my life miserable)...they did open surgery at the time and put my pouch back up on the wall and put my 'organs on a shelf'...the expression that he used, not me...I have just had my pouch picked up again through laparoscopic surgery 3 days ago (along with a couple of other organs swept and dusted). My surgeon used a couple of clips to tack it up. This is recurrent with me due to an underlying disease...for me, this is the only solution. It is still surgery but it is much less invasive and simpler to recover from.
