The Division of Colorectal Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center is delighted to welcome Dr. James Church to the team.

James M Church BSc, MBChB, MedSci, FACS, FRACS

For over 4 decades, Dr. Church has specialized in colorectal cancer and polyps, molecular genetics of colorectal diseases, functional colorectal and anal problems including constipation and incontinence, perianal and perineal infections and inflammatory bowel disease. With a specific interest in familial polyposis and colorectal cancer, he has served on international societies and registries dedicated to the research and care of patients with inherited colorectal cancer. He will be bringing his valuable expertise to Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Thank you so much. The colorectal division is truly trying to form a center for IBD and Cancer expertise in surgery, Interventional radiology and GI specialists. Dr. Kiran, Dr. Shen and Dr. Church all worked together for over a decade at Cleveland clinic and now are happily

together again
