Hi, can anyone help me understand this better? I had my total colectomy in 2018. Everything was fine till Jan 2020 when we noticed some growth in the stomach region. Doctors said that they are desmoids and tried some medicine but that didn't work. They say that the growth might stop after sometime but are not sure. At the same time they are not responding to medicines too it seems. Any idea how much it can grow in a year and will it keep growing?

At present the size in the last scan is 9.5 (CC) x 8.39 (AP) x 7.0 (TR) cm

Five months back it was 7.6 x 6.3 x 6.7 cm

Thank you so much for your help.

Regards
Sathya

Pain will be very mild only and it will be just the discomfort but if it captures other organs nearby it will bring in complications which will be very serious. I am still studying how to control that with food as the doctors here in India say that there are no fixed medication for this. One thing I noted for now is to avoid high sugar food, Wheat, and all purpose flour. Let us see what other seniors say here.
