Hey guys,

Things have been going good for me since my takedown last October. Usually go 4-7 times a day. Sleep though the night. However a week ago I felt like I got hit by a truck. My energy is gone. Body fatigued and such. I didn’t really have a increase in BM’s but last night I got up 4 times which hasn’t happened since early in my takedown. I’m not having any blood or mucus in my BM. I’ve been getting hot and cold chills and I’m feeling very weak. My body has felt numb and I’ve also been getting light headed. For some reason my lips are tingling as well. I have cipro and metro on hand that my surgeon prescribed earlier but am putting off taking them until I’m positive it’s needed. I’m going to make a call today to see if I can get an appointment just wondering if I could get some insight as I’ve never dealt with this before. Thanks 😊

I have a J pouch since 1998

I'm not sure what you have but does not seem like pouchitis to me. Not sure if this will help you any later but I have had pouchitis about 5-6 times a year since 1998 but controled fairly well with cipro but since about 2 years i've been using calmoseptine ointment and always place toilet paper on the exit to absorb moisture and I have not had any pouchitis since (about 2 years now). Not sure if it's the reason but I do not suffer anymore since doing that.
