I had a "scar revision" that was basically a tummy tuck about a year after my take down. Insurance paid because it was disfigurement from the surgery and wound infection that didn't heal correctly. There were no complications or problems. It didn't affect my pouch function at all. I even got pregnant and had a baby after it. Only thing is I had to have a C-section. They fixed a hernia created by pregnancy separating the muscles, during it.

Lasting issue from the procedure is how loud every sound my intestines make is. There's not much insulation so you can hear everything. I think it annoys me more than anyone. The positive is that I don't look like a freak with two bellybutton indentations because of a poorly healed wound infection about 4 inches below my belly button. Also, a bummer, the skin of my belly button died when they sewed up the c-section. So I just have a scar belly button. No biggy. If you have a better doctor, you won't . I wish you the best! Let me know if you need anything. I' m here for you!
