I had j-pouch surgery back in October, 2018. Since then my pouch has not functioned properly. My doctor now says I should have j-pouch revision surgery. A "redo" type of operation, which I'm not looking forward to. I'm having trouble finding information about this type of surgery on the internet. So far, I've found next to nothing about it. Does anybody now of an internet site that gives details about this type of surgery? Thanks!

There’s a fair amount of information *here* about J-pouch revisions, so using the search function might answer the questions you have. If I needed it I would choose a different surgeon than the one who created the problematic pouch.
Did they say why they think you need in a redo? What needs to be redone? Maybe your surgeon thinks you need advancement surgery?
