It's called Mesalamine in the USA, with brand names Canasa, Asacol and Rowasa (I would suggest editing thread title to use all the names). I used it in the past with not much success, under the Rowasa brand.  I think it's designed for mild pouchitis more than moderate and in my case, antibiotics, and now Remicade, have been the only truly effective treatments.  With the enemas I had problems holding them in, and when you can't hold them in when you are flaring, it kind of defeats the chances of effective treatment.  If you can hold them, you might have better results than I did.
