Hi Everyone

Just looking to see if anyone would be kind enough to help. I am in Scotland & normally purchase the above cream which is not available here from eBay UK but at the moment cannot find a listing from a UK seller. I have tried many other creams available in the UK but none as good as Calmoseptine & I am in desperate need of some more tubes. I had really bad UC for around 3 years and tried various medications which didn’t work and ended up with a proctocolectomy with j-pouch which was the best decision ever but still suffer from butt burn at times.
I am worried if I buy from a US site I will then be faced with large custom duties for purchasing the product so I’m just wondering if anyone would be willing to help me out and purchase some and post to me in Scotland?
I will of course cover all costs, packaging, postage etc and if there is anything from Scotland I can send you I would be more thank happy to.

Thanks so much

Mary 😊

I see Calmoseptine available for what looks like a decent price ($7.22/4 ounce tube) on Walmart's website:

You can also double the fun and pick up 2 tubes for $14.44 on Amazon:

As far as I know Amazon exists in the UK and it's the same company so I see no reason why you couldn't get it from them. Jeff Bezos is the richest man in the world and his ex wife is the richest woman in the world, and they didn't get that way selling only to Americans.

I know all of our pouches are different, but just wanted to pass along that a bidet is what ultimately solved my butt burn. I use flushable baby wipes when away from home, and the bidet at home. If I use toilet paper, I get really scuffed up. And the bidet seems to sooth the area in addition to avoiding toilet paper. But again, our journeys are all different. You may already be using a bidet. I have a cheap squirt bottle bidet for travel also. The Calmospeptine was a lifesaver in the beginning for me. Best of luck getting that sorted. Sounds like some folks are working with you on that. Sorry to hear about the butt burn. It's a beast. I've been hit hard by pouchitis lately. It's tough when are pouches give us trouble! So glad I'm able to come here and remember I'm not alone. =)

Have you tried ilex paste; that’s available within the UK

If you’re registered with a UK GP, it’s available on a NHS prescription.

Hi Everyone

Thank you for your suggestions, I will try a bidet and some germoline as Calmoseptine appears similiar to this.  The Calmoseptine is the only ointment which helps and I've been through a few over the last 2 years.  I've also tried the ILEX paste but really didn't like it and it not's for me.

Thanks again for all the input and especially to YTCROCKPOT who is helping me out with this
