Maybe I should ask in a different way. Awhile back I saw a post about peppermint essential oil help one with nausea. Only thing I have found about essential oils or natural supplements on this forum. If any one has tried any of these things please let me know what and if it helped. I am interested in using copaiba oil for pain. I have had cuffitis since diagnosed with several yrs. ago.  I have used pain pills for pain I have in the upper right corner of cuff. I have not gotten any answers on why I have pain there but feel its from how the stool comes out at times and doesn't seem to open as well in that corner and causes pain when stool tries to come out.  The copaiba is suppose to help and be better for several reasons than using CBD oil. Also interested in using essential oils for overall health.

Kk, when you write “upper right corner of cuff” I get concerned that you may be misunderstanding what and where the cuff is. Perhaps I’ve misunderstood, but just in case: The rectal cuff is an internal structure, generally at about a full finger length inside the anal opening. If you are having pain at/around the anal opening that’s more likely to be an anal fissure than pain from cuffitis. You can have both, of course, but they call for different treatments.

Thanks Scott. Well no doctor has given me an answer about it. Never told stricture. Think for some reason at times stool is pushed to that corner to come out and then doesn't open well causing irritation. Best I can figure out. Unfortunately when it happens I have much pain there whether or not stool is coming out.
