You guys are so lucky to have the option of robotic. I had my surgery in 1981 which was the best hand surgery in NYC at the time!

You are lucky! Most people that had hand assisted, usually have more problems, you are lucky! I hope it keeps up

My first surgery (the colectomy) was robotic, the others were regular laparoscopic. Amazed how small the scars are. In 2011 I donated a kidney, and that was laparoscopic as well.

Had robotic, you can hardly tell I have a surgery, let alone three!
I had both. First one was laporoscopic, fast forward past others -- the last one was open with Dr. Remzi. The open surgery by Dr. Remiz, of course, to me, was more successful. All good.
