I had a total blockage right after my take down 10 years ago. I thought was worse pain than childbirth. In past 6 months, I have had 4 or 5 blockages that cleared themselves. I went to hospital with one of them and it cleared itself when I waited. Most have lasted 12 hours or so and then they pass but they scare me terribly. I get the cramps, bloating, burping etc and then they pass.
Do doctors ever go in laparoscopic to check for issues? Look for narrowing? It seems it would be a proactive/less emergency situation if they did it that way. I do not feel confident that this will not eventually result in a total blockage.
My plan is to do bowel rest for 2 days as my tummy is still bloated but cramps are gone and I do have bowel movements........I see whole peas and corn (they were in some rice I ate so did't think enough to cause an issue.
