6 months out

Good Wednesday all,
I am 6months post op from my colon removal surgery and 4 months out from takedown. I am finally starting to feel human again. I usually have very good weekends but not so good weekdays probably due to work related stress. I had a long talk with the folks at work about needing help and they agreed, so things have gotten better there and I had (4) good days in a row. That is a milestone for me. So just wanted to let everyone know I believe I am on the uphill swing and getting my life back. What a journey it has been.

Very good to hear. I'm four mo too, and for awhile felt like I hit a plateau , but just the past two weeks feel like I miiighht be on an upswing again.

Ro - that's exactly what happened to me. I think things will really start to get better for you. There IS a light at the end of the tunnel!!

That's a good idea to let them in on the hardship you face with your pouch now. Even after you do that it's tough for people to actually grasp the misery you go through day after day.
