I just seen my GI dr yesterday. I have fissures, never lnew.  I am sure I have had before but the dr's never picked up on it.  I finally seen a post on this topic and the med rectiv to heal.  It's very expensive, my ins. got it down to $95 but my local pharmacy doesn't have or any other in my area.  Do you any suggestions that is compatible to this drug I could tell my dr to call in.  Thanks.

Your pharmacy should be able to order Rectiv. Other meds that work for this are nifedipine or diltiazem, but I think you might need a compounding pharmacy to make up an ointment of one of these. That’s much more complicated than just ordering Rectiv. Are the pharmacies telling you tat they can’t get it, or just that they don’t have it in stock?
