I've been on Augmentin for the past month for pouchitis and gosh did I feel great! Been off of it for about a week or so, and last Saturday got some leakage in the afternoon and when I tried to go I couldn't so I strained (I should have known better). My tuss is so sore it feels like I have a post jammed up there and of course, I have cracks and am bleeding. I have not been feeling well since, and have very watery diarrhea that is very hard to control. Last night I didn't even make the bathroom which wasn't very pleasant at all. I just had dinner and wish I didn't. There is no odor which I know one has with c.diff.

Any ideas would be so welcomed.

It’s possible that the pouchitis is returning. That’s what happens to me if I stop taking antibiotics, though each person’s symptoms are a bit different.

I have my first case of pouchitis and was told to call back if it returned after stopping the antibiotic. Hopefully it won’t!
