Hello. I've had my j-pouch after my colectomy since 2012, and ever since then, my stomach makes really loud gurgling noises whenever its having a digestion movement. It's loud enough for a class full of people to hear it and turn their heads (which happens... often.) It occurs mostly when I feel the urge to to go to the bathroom but continue to hold it. I just wait for a few seconds for that pressure/urging feeling to pass while holding it in, and then a loud gurgle follows and it lessens for another 10-15 minutes until I finally go to the bathroom.
It's seriously really loud, and it doesn't really bother me anymore, but it's embarrassing when I go out sometimes and people hear it and they assume I'm starving. I was curious if anyone else had this? Thanks!
