I do get elbow and shoulder pain, unknown if it's really linked to anything other than arthritis which is common for anyone with autoimmune issues. I've had many issues related to joint pain and joint inflammation, not just elbows and shoulder. I do find keeping my arms and legs straight but relaxed is helpful.
I have pretty bad joint pain, mainly in the SIJ , hip and knee. I only get shoulder pain when I sleep for too long on my shoulder. Lying flat on my back with no pillow under my head, I put the pillow under my knees.
