I have tried Hydrochlorothiazide for my blood pressure on and off now for a few months and I think this is bothering my j-pouch and intestines. What does everyone take for blood pressure in here and do you have any side affects with your J-pouch because I need to switch to something else. Thanks in advance!

I had congestive heart failure last year from viral bronchitis. I have been taking Entresto and Metatoporol daily with zero issues.
I have congestive heart failure. I take Coreg and Zocor. For blood pressure - I take Linsinopril. I have no problems. My blood pressure is a bit too low. I get a bit of lightheadiness, but presents no real problems.
By the way I have a Koch Pouch. By Dr. Joel Bauer. Mt. Sinai in NYC.

Thank you for your response! I have a j pouch done at the Cleveland Clinic...I am not familiar with a Koch Pouch.
