I have my pouch removal the Monday Dec 4th. I can't wait. But it's nice to see so many on here that have had success with theirs. Thanks for all the help through the short time I've had mine. You all are the greatest.
Well made it home Friday. Im disappointed with how the insicion looks on the backside. But getting by with liitle pain med because it makes me to dizzy and wake up all sweaty. I need to get a enlongated toliet. Our current one doesnt leave enough room to dump bag. But all in all good.

Same here with the long toilet. I found it helps to scootch back as far as possible and it give you more space. I'm not using that end anymore anyways.
Mine looks like a sideways rear-end inscion. Now that it's all healed. Lol.
Hi, I'm glad to hear you're doing so well post surgery. If you do change out your toilet, why not opt for not only an elongated one, but also a "comfort" height toilet. It's so much easier to sit on and off because it's higher than a standard one. Most manufacturers make them, but I have Toto Drakes in all my bathrooms and love them.
Glad you are home and doing so well. Sitting a little sideways on the throne helps too. There are u-tubes on how to empty and other topics.
My backside took a long time to heal. Not the stiches but getting over the rectal stump removal. That was "normal", as if anything following a colonectomy is normal. I invested in a nice cushion.
