Congratulations! You got through the tough surgeries. My very first food when I got home from reversal was a sunny-side up egg on toast. And a strong cup of tea. After that almost all my meals consisted of high protein foods such as chicken, fish, tofu, white pasta, white rice, lots of wilted spinach as my vegetable. Breakfast was toast with almond butter and soft boiled egg with lots of salt because we need higher salt intake until our body is used to living without a colon. Lunch was bone broth with pieces of chicken and rice or potato to thicken the broth. Dinner was fresh fish or chicken, white rice, very well cooked carrots. I didn't reintroduce fiber and vegetables until several months later. I think I ate an egg every day because I knew protein would heal my tissues. Seventeen months later I can eat anything I want although I limit starchy foods (carbs) and avoid sugar. I don't eat whole nuts or seeds.
