New to the area. Have a j pouch and would like to find a doc that has had some j-pouch experience. Little concerned when the doc I went to has to look up pouchitis on the internet.
Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Punta Gorda. Willing to drive to Sarasota.

he knows about pouches and even did a scope on me! I know he has several j pouch patients. He is also in charge of the chrons and colitis support group which meets once a month in Naples. .The medical group also has access to clinical trials. There are 4-5 doctors in the group, but I would try for him. He knows what pouchitis is and has prescribed different drugs for me. I now get drugs from Canada and he has no problem sending script to Canada.
