Has anyone ever had an employer require to do a physical, even though you had one pre-employment and passed it fine?

I have been having issues lately with flares, my seton, and fissures, i have had to call out, but I have sick time to do that. My employer is going to make me have a physical.

My boss has been aware of my condition since shortly after I was hired.

Can she fire me because of my Crohns, she has not asked or offered any kind of accommodations. I work in HR in a school district. Should I apply for FMLA, to protect myself?

Yes. File fmla immediately.   Now.    Should  have done it  sooner. It takes awhile to get the paperwork. Approval won't be a problem.  Shouldn't be.  Fmla does not have to be used all at once.  You can use it intermittently.  Like you are using sick days now. You won't get paid taking a fmla day or two but your protected.

No.  You cannot be fired directly for an autoimmune disease. That's discrimination.  I am in a union.  So my situation is different. Do you have a union backing you?

Your in HR?   And if you are you should know these things to advise others.

Just get your papers to file fmla. Protect yourself.
