i am 3 months out from my jpouch reconnection. I've been doing great but yesterday I started having frequent watery stools and stomach cramping. Today it's worse and I feel nauseous. Thought it might be some dehydration so trying to keep drinking fluids but still have to keep going to bathroom. I tried Imodium yesterday didn't help too much. For the ladies I started my period yesterday only me second since surgery back in may could this just be my body adjusting or could I be getting pouchitis? Please help!

you may just have a bug I try to stay away from people when they are sick and we use a lot of lysol around my house. And the holidays you may have eaten someting different than usual.I always have gator aid at my house,I try to drink a lot any way.And it could be your period.or all of it together.you are not the same person as you were before the surgeries. good luck and God speed.

Also, if you can't get enough fluids then you need to return to the clinic for Iv fluids. Dehydration quickly leads to nausea and it snowballs from there. If you strike a fever at all then worst case scenario you could have C diff so they would want to get a stool sample so I would surely go back if you continue to deteriorate. Hang in there. Everything gets much better in time.
