Have you tried ilex protectant paste ?

I believe ilex to be the best, it's the only product which healed and protected the skin around my Stoma and like yourself, I thought I'd tried every cream, powder, paste and concoction available.

I've since used ilex for prevention of butt burn and it appears to be working..

Here in the UK, ilex paste is now available on NHS prescription but when I began to use it, it wasn't, but I got free samples from my Pouch Nurse.

I ordered more free sample sachets directly from ilex before I purchased some, which cost in region of £18.00 (inc postage) per tube; I bought at least 4 tubes over 12 months before it became available on NHS Prescription.

So, why not order some free samples first, see what you think.

Not sure if this helps but I dealt with this for a couple years after getting pouch surgery done and the red itchy stinging rash would get bigger then smaller but never go away.  Very painful.  I stopped dairy and it disappeared for me.  I'm very allergic to dairy so much it's the beef too as I can't break it down.  Also probiotics I feel are a Must for pouch people as they keep your bad bacteria in control.  Refrigerated pill form probiotics taken on empty stomach 30 mins before eating does the trick.  Even as little as 1 billion works like a charm!!  Hope this helps.
