I noticed when I quit drinking alcohol 10 months ago I have had 2 bad cases of pouchitis.  Before this I had never had it at all.  So after I stopped I started taking a lot of different supplements thinking was to take care of myself better since I suffered from serious malnutrition that I wasn't getting from food.  I was wondering if POUCHITIS could happen from taking to many vitamins and supplements or could alcohol be actually a good thing for POUCHITIS ever?

Any thoughts would be great.

Chad,

I take supplements and never have any problems; however when I drink alcohol I do.  Seems what works for one doesn't necessarily work for another.   Cipro seems to be the only thing that works for me, especially with nighttime incontinence.  I'm only about 1 1/2 yrs out from my Jpouch and it's not been easy figuring out what works and what doesn't work in regards to nighttime incontinence, which is my only problem.  Let me know if you how things work out for you.
