Oh Josh,

My heart breaks for you and everything that you have been through and are still going through...is there no hope? Is there no one else who can intervene? Is there not a doctor anywhere who can fly in and rescue you from this death sentence? 

Have you (and I know that this may be a dead end but...) tried to contact Dr Cohen in Toronto? He is semi-retired now but may have something to say/do or suggest...can this possibly be it?

Email me or PM me and I will call him and see if he is still active is any way at all.

I messaged Dr C in Toronto (I no longer know if I will get an answer from him due to part time retirement) but I extrapolated a bit on your situation and asked him to get back to me...If nothing else, to review your case and see if there is anything left to be done.

Maybe it is just a "hail Mary" but still is worth a try...

Where is the hospice? In southern Fla? If so, I will be out there in 1 month and come out to see you.

Words fail me Josh. I am so sorry that things seemed to have snowballed into this dire situation. I know you have had some extremely challenging issues, but it completely astounds me that they were unable or unwilling to gain access for an IV line for nutrtion. This makes me sad and angry, which helps you not one bit. But, I don't know what to suggest, since you have been to your primary MD and the ER

i am so sorry to hear of this. Having our issues is one thing, but poor care is quite another. I am my own advocate and have to be. No one understands the care required by us and we learn to do our own research and tell doctors how to treat us. I have been pronounced dead and wished I had stayed that way and yet I'm still here. I have more bad than good days and silently suffer. I truly wish you had someone speaking on your behalf to stop this before it started. You truly are being heard. Physicians should join this site if to just have a tie understanding of a day walking in your shoes. To learn and treat patients not their disease. I'm hoping you are comfortable and no longer suffering and hospice is caring for you well. May God help you through this and know you are never alone. ��

Has anyone heard from Josh? I am simply dumbfounded, shocked and so saddened by his post. I'm hoping that he is going to get to see another doctor? Josh, if you read this, please please don't give up, please get a new doctor from somewhere else, a different hospital entirely, to review you ASAP. Please don't give up. xxx

I just read this thread.  I cannot believe this day in age nothing can be done. I hope Josh got some help and he's recovering and that's why he's not posting. So upsetting. 

I've been thinking about Josh every day since I read his post and I can't tell you how heavy my heart feels when I think about his situation. I'm hoping he hasn't responded because he's not able to right now but will soon. All we can do is hope.
