abdominal cramping does anyone experience this where the scar for the ousting was. I am currently out of my three step process a year and a half from the last surgery. And for the last 5 months I have had 4 random ball like cramping over the scar area on my right side that lasts between 10-15 sec. Then stops and relaxes it freaks me out and I don't know what it is other then a possibly muscle spasm wondering if anyone has had this. And being this far out of surgery. Please let me know anyone out there

As long as it is relatively fleeting and not constant, it should be OK. This seems likely to be some "kinking" of the intestine due to adhesions (internal scar tissue). The most common site for this is the stoma site. As your gut settles after surgery, this symptom should settle too. More than a year post op you probably as settled as you are going to get.

Like Dewey said, be sure to stay well hydrated. It does make a difference. Otherwise, surgical release of adhesions are the remedy. Most surgeons don't want to go there, as more surgery may cause more adhesions.
