if you have pouchitis caused by taking an NSAID, once you stop the NSAID how long would it take (provided your on antibiotics) for it to leave your system and the pouch calm down?

I'm taking Etodolac and i just read some scary stuff online about it, normally just reading it wouldnt freak me out but my issues that have slowly gotten worse started the same time i introduced etodolac which is an NSAID.

Heres the link i read.

Maybe a month or two. The drug is out of your system sooner, but it takes time for the damage to heal. The length of time you were on the NSAIDs matters the most, as the longer the treatment time, the more damage there is to repair.

I still take NSAIDs from time to time, but limit myself to two weeks maximum.
