I had my jpouch redone completely by the famed Dr Remzi at the Cleveland Clinic about 5 weeks ago. Tomorrow is the day I go in to have my scans to check and see if everything looks ok. I have had so many letdowns in the past few years so its hard to have good thoughts. I have 100% confidence in my surgeon I just hope my body responded positively. If so, I am hoping to get reconnected in the spring. Please think of me and send some prayers. Thanks my friends..

Lots of good karma, prayers and luck!  I think that covers it all.  You have a fantastic surgeon and if anyone can make it right, Dr. Remzi will.  Have faith.  Think positive.  Even Jeffrey has had good new lately, so now it's your turn. If you are feeling good then things are fine. I'm praying for you  have a wonderful Thanksgiving as well!

You are at a great place w/ great doctor.  I am sorry you've had so many let downs - I've been through that a lot with 29 years of the pouch.  But, overall, it's been pretty good.  Sending prayers, karma, thoughts as said above that your scans, etc. show good progress/outcomes. We out here in pouchland are with you and please do let us know how appt. went.  If it was not perfect, please let us know so we can try to support you.  You are not a lone.  It's an up and down thing for many of us.  But, more ups and downs as the years go on.  Wishing you wellness and peace.

yes, all is good. scheduled for takedown on March 7th.. Still having a lot of uncontrolled mucous though. Before the redo I had no problems holding it, but now sometimes I can feel it and I can hold it but sometimes the pad between my cheeks is wet but had no idea nothing was coming out. I hope this works itself out. I know once I am connected things will thicken up, that mucous is very thin and slippery and harder to hold
