Hello all,

I was wondering if I might get some advice.  I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2009.  I have had a rough go especially since 2011. i discovered a rectovaginal fistula with abscess in 2012.  I suspect Remicade healed this one, as I was on it prior to colectomy.   Anyway, I had a total colectomy 2012, j-pouch made 2013, same perianal abscess 1 months later.  Countless mushroom drains and seton placements in and out.  Jpouch turned septic then excised and a another Jpouch made June 2014.   September all new holes in pouch and fistula are healed.  (A miracle I'm told and Believe) Connected for the first time December 1, 2014 since colectomy.
Less than 3 weeks after surgery my perianal abscess came back.  More drains and surgeries.  I've done D50 glucose therapy and hyperbaric chamber therapies.  Felt healthy during the summer.  Health began to deteriorate late August.  More drains I&d of abscess'.   It is now connected to my Jpouch and has been since June.  Just had surgery  to open up the drainage hole.  Yesterday I noticed during my hyperbaric session a lot of drainage coming through the drain hole.  During the night gas and stool and purulent drainage has seem to increase.  Has anyone had this?  Is it possible to heal a Jpouch hole while connected?  I have had many many tests to determine that I have UC (not Chrons) with perianal disease.  Over the years my diagnosis has been shuffled around quite a bit.  My MRI concluded that the fistula is at the dentate line, and is at approximately a  curvy 90 degree angle which makes it impossible to put a seton in.  Any advice would be very appreciated.
Thanks,
Jen
