I've had a j-pouch for 21 years, which I received as a result of uncontrolled UC.  I have been very, very lucky with my pouch, as I have had a few bowel obstructions but no other real issues.

About three weeks ago I started to notice some pain and urgency (dull pain) and my bowel movements had a sort of "cloudy" aspect to them--like dropping powder into the water and seeing it expand like a cloud--not sure how else to describe it.  There was no blood and has not even been a hint of blood in the stool during these three weeks.

I am still dealing with some urgency and that dull pain.  The pain seems to be at the back of the scrotum into the anus (what I read is the "pelvic floor" area).  I even feel like I can feel pain in my scrotum but when I concentrate on it, it seems to be at the back near the anus, and definitely in the anus.

I saw a surgeon for another issue and he examined me with his finger and said it feels like there is "scar tissue" in there and that I was definitely extra sensitive (it hurt a lot when he put his finger in there).

I am waiting for  GI appointment and it won't be for almost a month.  The dull pain is getting a bit worse.  And I think my lymph nodes in the area are a bit swollen, which would indicate infection (I think).

Any ideas what this is?  Anything I can do in the three/four weeks I am waiting?
