Hello all. Wondering about baths - I have major American butt burn, so much so that sitting is painful, as is elimination because of cuffitis, anal fissures and anal strictures. Getting in a hot but bearable bath initially hurts. Should I be taking cold or lukewarm baths instead? Thanks in advance for your responses.

As warm as you can tolerate will hasten healing.

My bidet is not heated, so the cold water feels great on butt burn. I sometimes wish I could spray it for an hour, but I live in California--not good for the drought! But hot feels good for general soreness for me.
