I have just moved to Phoenix 85044 in the last 3 weeks.  I have severe perianal crohns and cufffitis along with my jpouch.  I have been searching for new doctors.  In MI I had a colon rectal surgeon who took care of my perianal crohns, cuffitis and anoscopy and jpouchoscopy. I had a gastrointerologist who I seen, not sure why, lol.  I also have iron deficiency anemia and B12 deficiency and have been seeing a hematologist/oncologist for almost 10 years now and get either blood transfusions - if my hemaglobin drops below 8-, or I get iron transfusions if iron drops first. I get these about every three months. Another main concern, even before I left MI was that I have lost 30 pounds since January for no reason.  I eat at least 1000-1500 calories a day, that includes drinking 3 Ensures a day to help get to those numbers.  I really don't want to just "pick" out of a phone book.  I was recommended to Dr. Young-Fadok at Mayo Clinic and I was told by them that they do not accept my insurance.  I have Medicare Advantage Plus BCBS of MI.  Can anyone in the Ahwatukee/Phoenix area give me any advice on who is good or even GREAT!  I need a colon/rectal surgeon, gastrointerologist, hematologist and I was suggested to see a Dr. J Wu for an internist and PCP.  Any advice would be extremely helpful and comforting to me.  THank you so very much for any doctors you can recommend who are VERY experienced with the Jpouch, and chronic cuffitis and fissures, and iron deficiency anemia.  Thank you and God Bless all of us!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the excellent recommdation.  Does he work as a team with a gastroenterologist and an internist or primary care dr you'd recommend?
