So, I had the 2nd of 3 surgeries, to construct the JPouch, on 8/18/2015.  The surgeon had said that they would be moving things around, like the bladder.  He said I may have some difficulty urinating because they will move the bladder.  So, I have severe pain  when I go, no burning or anything like that.  It's more of a severe ache, not a cramp, and I just have to try to relax to urinate.  At the same time I feel the urge to use the pouch and I'll get a lot of liquid out, foggy looking.  Urine looks normal.  Has anyone else experienced this, this far out of surgery?  Also, it hurts to walk, the ache is there all the time.  Any ideas, advice, etc. is greatly appreciated.  Please let me know if this has happened to you and what did and didn't work to alleviate the pain!
Thanks!!!
Nora

Sounds like you are having bladder spasms, likely due to the manipulation of your bladder. It should improve, but since it has been more than two weeks, you may need an antispasmodic or something like B&O suppositories (belladonna and opium). Be sure that a bladder infection or other infection is ruled out.

No infection, just the aching constantly.  I've noticed it's painful to sit, I have to be very careful to just sit down.
When I do urinate I don't feel as if I'm ever done, I can sit there with little dribbles and then the pouch will start and I have the foggy liquid coming out.  I can hold both the urine and the pouch, but the more I hold the urine, the more it hurts to go.  No pain with holding the pouch.  Can I get over the counter anti-spasmodics for the bladder, like AZO or should I avoid those?
Also, where do you get opium? And opium tinctures?  In Oregon MJ will be legal and will be sold at dispensaries to the public beginning 10/1/2015.  I know they have product that can help with this, but not opium, and a lot of folks here on this site have mentioned opium before.  So, can you guys help me out?  Can I use over the counter meds, should I?  Where do I get opium?  Will MJ help and if so, a recommendation on intake, vapor, smoke, edibles, etc.?
Thanks!!!

AZO might help. All opium products are prescription only. If you want to try MJ, I recommend vaping. Quick action like smoke, but without the smoke. Edibles are more long lasting, but hard to tell what the best dose is, because it takes so long to take effect.

But, be sure to keep your surgeon in the loop. When I had serious tailbone pain with sitting, it turned out to be a presacral abscess. After a month of this pain, I spiked a temp of 105, landing me in the hospital for two weeks. Your bladder issues may be related to something nearby, but not the bladder. The point is that your pain should be gradually improving if all is well.

I always had bladder sensitivity post op...with my 1st pouch surgery they did a contrast study at 30 days post op because I was dribbling too and they were afraid that something was going on...it resolved itself (it was often the irritation from the catheter being in place for so long).

Now after over 15 other pouch/abdominal surgeries I don't panic...it is usually resolved within a few weeks...if not, I start with an ovule (the OTC stuff for mild irritations/yeast...)

I then move to cranberry juice and finally if still not resolved ended up on antibiotics.

I get the pressure, need to pee constantly and never feel done feeling.

Often it is due to general swelling in there too...it takes time.

In my case, unless there is pain and/or fever I don't worry too much...I just allow time to heal me.
