Hello esteemed colleagues, I'm after a diagnosis!

For about a week I've had what I'd describe as an 'achy rectum' ... but since I have very little rectum, I assume it's the pouch! Its quite low down towards the anus and not in my abdomen.

Constant pain level is probably a 1 or 2 but after I eat and the pouch fills up it's more like a 3 or 4. Then when I'm on the toilet, it can be 5 or 6. There is increased urgency associated with the sensation.

I don't think I have any other symptoms. Output is with in the normal range of consistency. No blood or anything.

My first thought was I had hit the seeds/nuts too hard. This has happened in the past where my pouch seems to get irritated by the sharp edges, but it usually settles down within a day or so. This feeling is persisting on a slow upward trajectory.

Next step is to see doc, but would love your thoughts.

Thanks.

So my 'pouchitis' seems to have cleared up on it's own (does that even happen!?) and now I have woken up with a tender pea-sized lump beneath the skin surface down there.

Considering I have an existing minor RV fistula (more nuance than problem) that started with cyst-y growth, I'm not optimistic about this. Sigh.

Thanks for your responses.
