Hello friends!

Maybe that topic to the is too dramatic.
A few years ago I had some polyps just suddenly show up in the ureters and had to be surgically removed as they were bleeding and causing pain. Bladder scopes later showed inflammation which quieted down eventually.

Lately when my pouchitis is active it's nearly impossible to hold in urine. Maybe the muscles are really weak I dont know. Im just concerned that I am leaking urine in the night now too which is a new thing.

Last time I was at Cleveland clinic they did an anal mammotry which showed high rectal pressures. My question is could this be related--pouchitis pressure and urinary pressure? Before I fly back to Cleveland I want to hear from anyone who might have a similar issue?

Hi Jan
Thanks for the quick response. Yes he says the muscles are weak which I think is a possibility but for me since my surgery in 2003 there has always been an issue. It was suspected there was a fistula to the bladder at one point but that was ruled out. I've just noticed that since the anal pressures have become higher (saw tooth pattern)  there have been urinary issues.
