Finally taken seriously. Having a lap next week, Tuesday or Thursday when Dr M comes back. He wants to go in. Can do liquids so tonight will retry me on food. If not then the plan is to keep me going till next week on protein drinks. Refuse to do TPN unless I'm dying as too many infections and yeast problems. Been on it before and no one ever told me this. I just don't want to waste away. GI is pissed that suguern wants to go in as he is convinced it's either a mental problem/ functional problem that will resolve. Hello I eat food and one spot, one spot I feel bulging pain and nausea and dry heaves it. I was fine till 3 weeks ago.

Surgery next Thursday, a whole week away. I'm really scared that they won't find anything and if I can't eat I'll die. I've already lost 7 lbs and I pretty skinny to begin with. All these years when there was a problem I always had faith that the surgeon would fine the problem and be done with it but since all my tests are normal this GI here says it's a functional problem with my nerves. I don't know how I could be fine one day and very sick the next. I hardly ever see the doctor only when I can't get pouchitis under control.

So now the plan is changing somehow maybe. The GI thinks my chronic pouchitis has something to do with it. Or a functional problem that they can't find a med that would work. Maybe antitripaline, but that could take a few weeks maybe, and they don't want me on TPN So what r my options? The surgical team wants me in but they only want to go in once. So if it's adhesions, the pouch not working dur to chronic Pouchitis or what, they need to figure it out cause I sure can't. I'm not postponing it another week. I gave them 24 hours to give me a plan. I'm down now over 12 lbs and counting. This would not be an issue if I could eat without getting sick but I can't physically or mentally wait at this point. It's a damn crapshoot, 33 percent I will get better,33 percent I'll get worse, 33 percent I'll end up with worse problems
