I had take-down June, 2014 and have had cuffitis / pouchitis on and off and even BEFORE take-down.  Anyway, I am wondering what I ate that has set my fanny on fire!  I try to stay away from tomatoes of course.  Would this be ginger dressing from the Japanese steak house that is causing all this burn?

I need a list of foods that are ok to eat, and those that are "stay away at all cost".

I'm taking VSL#3 DS twice a day.  I'm back on prednisone (tapering to 10mg tomorrow).  AND I've had my first injections of Humira 2 weeks ago.  I was getting better, but something has set me on fire again!

I am one of those J-pouchers who don't stay away from culprit foods or drinks!  I take precautions before eating/drinking problematic foods.  Usually, all foods and drinks are pouch friendly for me but every now and then the opposite occurs.  So, it is prudent for me to smear on (and a little in) a barrier cream like Calmoseptine before partaking of foods which will cause me pain.  I do realize that once the problematic food/drink is out of me, the burning, etc. will be gone......like magic!  It helps me to know that.  Best wishes!
