It's been a year since my J Pouch was constructed and due to fistula tests and repair it will be awhile yet until the illeostomy is closed.  I've dealt with many instances of leakage from the seal breaking but lately I've noticed another pattern and I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same.  When I take morphine for pain...(only 1 mg) I've found that it is just a matter of hours later that my seal is blown.  What is the correlation?

Maybe with the morphine on board you are just active enough to break your seal, that would have held if you were not as active. I am thinking that maybe you are bending and twisting more. If your ostomy placement is in exactly the wrong place, it might make a difference.

Another thought is that the morphine slows/relaxes your gut enough to cause more retraction (I am assuming you have a loop ileostomy at present). A retracted stoma can cause leakage under the wafer. A convex system and/or ostomy support best should help.
