I had my surgeries in 2001. And did great through the years with the pouch. Could eat what I wanted. Some things came out faster then others. But no real issues and did great. Then last year I thought I was sick with the bug but ended up being Pouchitis. I had no idea what it was at first. I was pooping water pretty much. Belly ached. Body achy and felt like I had a fever but didn't. And started to get dehydrated. Call the Gastro doc and they put me on Cirpro and something else. It cleared up pretty quickly. Since then it has come back two other times but more mild. And now this week back again. I took an over the counter Probiotic last night and today and it has helped with the belly cramping and poops. But still feel off and tired. I will be 39 next month. I am wondering if things are changing because of my age? For those who get Pouchitis do you notice it came about more with age? Does it happen when you are more stressed, or some other reason? Or is it random? Not liking it. I was great for so many years.
