I see no one answered you.
You need a site like photobucket to host your pics.
If you do have an account there you know how to use it.
If not find a site like it or use it to host your photos.  Then you can get a profile pic up.  You cannot use one directly from your computer.  You have to put it on a site and use it from there.

I uploaded the profile pic directly from my computer.

Ok.
Didn't think you could.
I use a phone.
Don't  have a computer anymore.
But... If it can be done.  Do it.

I TRIED,,, HELP?

 

1. Go to Edit Profile, and the Avatar.

2. Where it says "Replace Avatar", click and then select "Upload Your Own Avatar."

3. Upload selected picture from your computer or phone.

4.  Changes may take some time (up to 24 hours) but if it successfully uploads, your good.

 

I just changed my own avatar as a demonstration - but as of right now the old avatar pic is still showing (me wearing pink original Margaritaville T Shirt purchased in Key West, FL).  When the new one uploads and is saved in memory, it will be me and two friends - I am the guy in the middle wearing the blue polo shirt holding a glass of wine.

 

 

I DID THAT, then a box pops up that says file chooser and it just says uploading but it does nothing???

Is your image cropped to 100 pixels square? Wrong format may be stalling the upload.

FYI..... my Kindle does not upload pics to this site either.  Will try with my desktop if and when I can get to my computer.  Still wheelchair bound and unable to squeeze the chair in between my bed and the wall to get to my computer cubby in my bedroom.

when i hit file on my desktop to upload i keep getting a window opening up asking if i want to open or save? its a windows generated box popping up. its already saved to my desktop?? and its for sure small enough..cant get it to upload? i give up

I'll bring this issue to the attention of Bill J. Maybe it is just a glitch.
