So my wife cloth diapers our youngest child and came across a diaper sprayer that connects to the toilet now as soon as she mentioned it I was stopping at nothing to try to find this item and we did at the last cloth diaper store we went to paid $40 for it I've seen them go as high as $80 as well. I am a lot less hesitate to go to the bathroom now with this thing because I don't get any rash as I was all the time. And yes the water is cold but still better than using TP. Hopefully this advice will help others out and it is easy to install took about 5 mins total

This is the type of sprayer I used for 3 years until my husband put an electrical outlet by one of our toilets.  I even bought a 2nd to take on extended days away from home.  Easy to hook up too!

Around a year ago my husband wired an electrical outlet and installed a bidet. If I'd known how great this was over my sprayer I would have nagged him more often.  My pouch has evolved more and there are several spraying functions included with the bidet that I couldn't do with the sprayer.

I never minded the cold water either and still use it on occasion.  I think cold reduces swelling and therefore adds relief.

I wasn't interested in the cold water (brrr) and the cost associated with the installation of a heated bidet was not in my budget so I just bought portable ones which I have stored at relatives homes as well as one in my car.  It is small enough to carry in my purse and I have total control over the water temperature and the force of the spray.  I couldn't live without it now.

I started out with bidet bottles and still use them when I'm not going to be around my bidet and before that around a sprayer.  Using a bidet helps me with more than cleaning after BM's.  It facilitates the emptying of my j-pouch when I have problems doing so.  Most recently it's been helpful due to pouch problems. My pouch was just dilated with a balloon during a pouch scope.  By getting small amounts of water inside my pouch I have fewer BM's and less pain.  I hate pain!
