frequent bowel movements with kidney issues

Does any one on this forum have kidney issues due to failure during surgery? I an dealing with this. My surgeon sent me to a GI after I kept experiencing multiple movements at night. I was doing ok during the day. Recently my Reenal Doc said my kidney function was getting worse. The GI took me off the Flagyl that I had been on for 5 months, and put me on Enteragam twice daily and colesteramine every 4 hours. After 1 day taking this I started very watery diarrhea at 8 yesterday. I called the GI and I am still waiting for his return call. Has anyone had this medicine?

I've never taken the meds. So I'm no help there. But I too now have kidney issues that they recently told me about. Apparently they have been watching them for a while. Now they want to check them every 6 months. Because I now get bouts of horrific lower back pain. I've been curious if others are later having kidney issues?
