Hello Everybody,
Is there anybody out there in Iowa? I am kind of at a loss and need some guidance. I have been doctoring at the Mayo clinic for the past few years and I would like to find a more local doctor, maybe Iowa City or Des Moines. I asked Mayo if they make referrals and they do not. I chronic severe pouchitis, Celiac disease, a recent bout with c-diff, and anxiety. I am thinking about having my pouch taken out, I am so tired of all the problems. The bathroom and I are close friends
Any advise on wonderfully understanding knowledgeable doctors would be appreciated!
UC Diagnosed age 16, 1986
Ileo-Anal Anastamosis 2 surgeries 1988
Perianal abscess and fistula 1999
multiple dilations - too numerous to count!
chronic pouchitis since 2010?
ulcers in pouch 2012
c-diff - fall 2013
