When do strictures commonly happen? I'm 14 years post-takedown and suspect I might have a stricture. This is the first time I've had these symptoms.

(Am in the process of seeing doctor, sugeon, xrays etc. Just wondered how likely stricture is after all these years.)

Have issues with them now, and it started 20 years post (but likely also has something to do with a perianal fistula and some inflammation).

Thank you for your reply, rachelraven. A blockage was ruled out today so off to see surgeon next, possibly for dilation.

It sounds like you have had a tough time with your pouch in recent years. Nice to see you smiling in your photo, I must remember to keep my spirits up too.
