Hi has anyone in the Uk been able to source Marlen catheters? The website I ordered from is not delivering internationally anymore and I'm down to my last one. The medina is available and necessary at times but I only use it occasionally as it gets caught and stuck causing too much trauma to the valve and because I'm taped in a lot the marlen is much more gentle and easier to use. Marlen Manufacturing Co. website shows contact information for their branch in the UK. Hopefully, they can be of assistance to you. I use the 30Fr Marlen curved catheter and have had no problems with it.
Thank you Bill I have emailed them hopefully hear back soon. It's been a nightmare trying to get a company that will post internationally I do prefer the marlen so much easier on my valve. Appreciate the info.

Not a day goes by that I don't wish John would have converted my failed J-Pouch as was planned before the baggage from my past talked him out of it..... I hold on to the hope one day I'll get over to the US and get a BCIR done..Pretty lofty goal really, but good to keep positive. I hope you are well in all areas of life!
Wow Hi Adroen, what a surprise to see your msg. I am actually in Sydney at the moment and seeing John this arvo, just quick scope. I am doing really well. We moved out of Sydney 2 years ago, to Uralla, near Armidale. Life is amazing. How are you doing?
I don't have any suggestions for a supplier here in the United States that would ship internationally. However I am wondering if your hospital system wouldn't be able to order them for you. just a thought. You may have already tried this route, so to speak. Next time I'm on a medical site I'll check for international shipping. Good luck, Janet

Glad to hear you're going so well!! Lived in the Northern Rivers area for a while way back and still miss it. Not quite as south as where you are. I only ever heard positives about the Armidale and surrounding areas but never got a chance to visit there.
Me.....will tell you another time.
In relation to your cath question. I ordered a whole lot of stuff in preparation for the K-Pouch operation that was cancelled. It was a US business that shipped to Oz, and I found them great communication wise. It has been 4 years though, so, I don't know if they are still in business, or if the place I'm thinking of was definitely the place I'm thinking of. 
I will get back to you.
Haha! I started that last post before Mary(thanks Mary) had posted, but that was the place I was thinking I'd got the stuff through. I will have to check old e-mails to find out for sure though.

Thanks everyone for all the positive feedback. I really hope this is successful, I can't afford to cause any damage to my valve as it is just hanging in. The Medina catheters are just too stiff. Will keep you all posted. ��
