I was just wondering from the people that have had to have a dilation done how many days after were you sore? Its been 4 days and I've been pretty sore which I expected but I just wanted to know how long it has taken others for the soreness to subside. I have been taking Sitz baths off and on and also sitting on a heating pad. I figured it would probably get worse before it got better which is how a lot of the bodies natural healing processes go. I was also wondering if I should take a day or 2 eating really light and increasing fluids to help with the healing process I would just hate to do that because I've finally been gaining weight consistently and don't want to go backwards but if I have to take it easy for a couple days to decrease my bowel movements to heal quicker I'm willing to make that sactifice. Thanks.

Thanks I figured it was gonna take a little bit to fully heal after stretching out the scar tissue. Makes sense the first time around would be the worst. I just figured I might alter my diet because I have been eating quite a bit lately and have had a significant amount of bowel movements everyday which become more and more painful because I feel like I'm not giving the scar tissue enough time to heal. I've been patient for this long I can handle another week. Thank you.
