Ok so I've had what was diagnosed as Pouchitis since 2009 and have been on and off Levaquin since then.

I just went to a new GI because I moved. She did a pouchoscopy, endoscopy, and ordered an MRE.

Here are the diagnoses:
1. Crohn's of the J-pouch
2. Fissure (think anus)
3. Nodule in my stomach
4. Mild hiatal hernia (which improved- yay!)
5. Atrophy of my pancreas (?!)
6. Narrowings in small bowel (probably where an anastomosis is)
7. Multiple Ovarian Cysts (which is common for me)

So, I'm mostly concerned about the Crohn's of the J-Pouch and my pancreas as it could possibly be another autoimmune disease.

I saw the post where Jan linked Dr. Shen's paper on the Crohn's but the link didn't work. http://www.ccfa.org/ccfaprof/i...%20Ileal%20Pouch.pdf

Can someone explain this to me about this diagnosis please?

Has anyone else had the diagnosis of an atrophied pancreas?

My doc is ordering more tests.

Thank you so much!

Thanks Jan for the quick reply! I'm not sure if that was the paper since the link didn't work, so I have nothing to compare it to. Here's your original post.

Do you think it was a different article you linked than the one you just linked me to (which by the way- thank you!)? The responses to your post mentioned flowcharts, so it seemed like a great article.

Thank you!
