So when I had pancreatitis before my specialist prescribed me Tramadol which worked SO well for the pancreas pain as well as my pouchitis pain. However about a month ago they made Tramadol a controlled substance so it is harder to get.

When I have pouchitis I had terrible abdominal cramping, urgency, and it almost feels like there is acid in my pouch (that burning feeling) when I have to go. It is so painful after I have a bowel movement that I almost hate to eat.

Can anyone suggest a pain med that I could ask my GI for? Tylenol does not even touch the pain.
